What is Stabilised Aqueous Ozone?
Stabilised Aqueous Ozone (SAO) is a combination of cold tap
water and ozone.
Ozone itself is naturally attracted to germs, bacteria and
stains. Harmless to humans, it swiftly attacks and eliminates whatever
contaminants it comes into contact with.
SAO eliminates germs, stains, mould, mildew and odour. When
applied, it quickly kills more than 99.999 per cent of viruses and bacteria,
including MRSA, salmonella, E.coli and more. It has also been proven effective
in eliminating 99.999 per cent of four viruses enveloped in the coronavirus/MHV-3.
SAO is certified as safe by world regulatory bodies and is
suitable for use in sensitive environments.
Why make the switch to SAO for cleaning and sanitisation?
When you convert from traditional chemical cleaners to
Stabilised Aqueous Ozone, you are helping to prevent millions of litres of
toxic chemicals entering landfill, ground water, streams and rivers every month.
The Tersano SAO Dispenser creates SAO on demand in high
quantities ready to fill mop buckets, floor scrubbers and spray bottles. This
means there is no need to store, mix or dispose of traditional chemical
products any longer, and no concerns over the health effects on whoever comes into
contact with the product. Even if it comes into contact with the skin or eyes,
SAO will not cause any harmful effects.
Once the SAO has done its job, only pure oxygen and water
remain, so there are no toxic by-products.
SAO allows you to save time and money by removing the need
to purchase chemical-based cleaning products, sanitisers and deodorisers.
How does the Tersano cartridge work?
Aqueous Ozone is capable of sanitising surfaces, but Stabilised Aqueous Ozone, created
courtesy of the Tersano cartridge, extends the sanitisation time from just 15
minutes right up to 4-24 hours.
As cold water enters the cartridge, the mineral content is
adjusted so the water becomes stabilised. This means that no matter where you
are in the world, the resulting liquid will be consistent and optimised for
cleaning and sanitising performance.
Without the cartridge, regular aqueous ozone only provides
15 minutes of sanitisation. However, having passed through the SAO-4
cartridge, SAO stays active to allow up to four hours of sanitising time
and three days of cleaning time before it returns to its original water state.
With the SAO-24
cartridge, users can enjoy up to 24 hours sanitisation, and as many as six
days cleaning.
